Our research associate Axel Treu has successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled:

Method development for the MALDI MS imaging of drug compounds and biomolecules in Tuberculosis research

After his defense, Axel was duly celebrated by his family and former colleagues. Also, his personal doctoral mortarboard was handed over, showing the most characteristic and funny events during his time in Bayreuth.
